Nice cosy place with authentic food and atmosphere. The buffet has a vast variety, fresh and with healthy options. I've been here several times (also for take away). Always great friendly service. The restaurant is also super clean, which is important for me. Plus reasonably priced. I can only recommend it 😀

Yalda is a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern buffet with a very authentic atmosphere. The space itself is beautiful and feels genuinely inspired by Morocco and the Middle East. The flavors are real and traditional — you can definitely taste that this is not fast food, but proper Middle Eastern cuisine.
The food overall was good and decent — not the best I’ve ever had, but clearly above average. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially a Turkish staff member named Askın, who was amazing and very kind.
The biggest drawback is the price. I paid almost €15 for only 200g of food, which is extremely expensive. I understand this is Switzerland, but if you come as a family of four and eat around 500g with a few fries and salads, you can easily go over €50, which feels quite crazy for a buffet-style restaurant.
Because it’s a buffet, you also need to be a bit careful with what you take. A friend mentioned that sometimes the potatoes can be slightly undercooked or some meats may have been sitting out for a while — this can happen with buffets, so choosing wisely matters.
Overall:
• Great location and authentic atmosphere
• Real Middle Eastern flavors
• Friendly staff
• Very expensive for the portion size
If you love authentic Middle Eastern food and don’t mind the price, this is a good place to try. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly the high price and the inconsistency that can come with buffet food
