I started going to Shangrila about 15 years ago and it has been one of my absolute favorites ever since. Even during the time I moved away from Switzerland, I would always come back here whenever I visited. For me, this is the best place for momos. The vegan and vegetarian options are fantastic, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. I also really enjoy their rice wine.

Visited Shangrila Tibet Restaurant on a Sunday evening. First of all, this is the real momo place in Zurich. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and the quality has always remained consistent. Especially worth mentioning is the Friday lunch all-you-can-eat, a true highlight. Besides the classic meat momos, there are also great vegetarian varieties. Last time I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious spinach and ricotta filling. The momo menu also includes a soup, vegetables and salad, all very tasty and well prepared. If you are looking for authentic momos with reliable quality for over a decade, this is the place to go.
