  You know the feeling, when you try food for the first time and then can't wait to eat it again? This is the case with me and Tsukemen Ramen. After having tried Tsukemen in both Osaka and Tokyo, I was looking forward to trying this specific type of Ramen here in Zurich - unfortunately, it just wasn't as good as I had hoped for. We ordered Chicken Karaage as a starter - while this was very good, the price tag of 14 CHF seems a little bit overpriced. The Tsukemen Ramen however were disappointing. In my opinion the ratio of noodles to dipping sauce wasn't right. The noodles themselves, while I appreciate that they are homemade, just didn't live up to the expectations. I found them to be too thin, too short and just not a very generous amount. The dipping sauce unfortunately was at best lukewarm and obviously became cold very quickly. It would be great, if you'd be able to keep the dipping sauce warm, so you can enjoy each and every dip of the noodles. I did however enjoy the Chashu - that was really nice and flavorful. The price for the Ramen is 23.00 CHF - which isn't cheap, but a typical price for Zurich. So all the above being said - I give Sappo Ramen a 3 out 5

  you order as you enter and atm they only accept card payments! (just something to note) they have a small seating area, service was quick, food was ok! i’ve had better but it was not bad on a cold rainy night ⭐️
