4/5a month agoProbably the best choice if you’re looking for authentic, traditional Swiss food in the center of Zurich with a good price-to-quality ratio. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and many of them are definitely worth trying. We had two different rösti (one with bacon, cheese, and egg; the other with egg, cheese, and vegetables) for 18.50 CHF each, and one cordon bleu with cheese spätzle (25.50 CHF). All portions were very generous, and the food was good. The highlight was the cordon bleu. The rösti were okay, but nothing mind-blowing, I’ve had better. All in all, it’s a nice place for a relaxed lunch. It feels very authentic and rustic, it’s packed with locals, and the staff is very friendly. Also, considering the highly touristy area and the portion sizes, the prices are very reasonable by Zurich standards. Definitely a solid choice!

4/5a month agoGood food, prices are reasonable for the area, quality is good. The best part was the dessert (chocolate cake warm served with ice cream and whipped cream). Good beer. Atmosphere is local and not a romantic place. I can recommend this place for Swiss food.
