Went for dinner. Was disappointed. Felt rushed the entire meal. We ordered a pre dinner cocktail. Waitress kept asking if we were ready to order. We ordered. She asked if we wanted wine with dinner. That came immediately. Then...Appetizer came before we were done with cocktail. So we had apps, wine and aperitif all on the table. Veg tartar was so-so. Clear soup with marrow was amazing. Seconds later our mains came. Schnitzel and seabass were delicious. Rosti was great. Vegetables that came with the fish were mush. Completely overcooked. Considering the price paid and the reviews we had much higher expectations.

The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and rich with history, making the whole experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food was exceptional: beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with great attention to detail. You can really taste the quality in every dish. Everything I tried was impeccable. The service was also outstanding. The staff were extremely attentive, professional, and welcoming, always making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Overall, Kronenhalle offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food, impeccable execution, and top-tier service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich or looking for a truly refined meal.
