  Fantastic all around. Their vegetarian food is incredibly flavorful and yummy as well as very homey and satisfying. The veggie curry is by far the best Japanese curry I’ve ever had and the sticky rice it comes with was cooked to perfection. The noodle salad’s dressing was AMAZING and somehow transformed simple, seemingly unexciting ingredients into one of the most delicious dishes I’ve had in a while. Finally, the veggie onigiri was simply exceptional and unlike anything I’ve ever tried—even in Japan. I think the filling was some sort of seasoned aubergine salad. It was a little bit sweet, a little bit umami, and a little bit something else, but came together beautifully. And its delicious and unique flavors combined with the texture of perfectly cooked and shaped rice made even this simple snack reach a league of its own. I can’t say enough good things about PutPut. Its food is truly exceptional. I only wish it opened on weekends so I could stop by more often. Highly worth a visit!!
