a month agoGoogleWe had an amazing dinner at the Old Inn. First of all, a 5-course tasting menu for under CHF 100… in Zürich?! Amazing. The standout dishes were the appetizer bread and taco selection. The nori butter was creamy yet firm, with a strong earthy, oceany flavor, an absolute highlight of the evening. But the real star was the fish dish. My god. The salmon collar was, hands down, the best fish I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed but still a bit fancy, perfect for a date night or a celebration. The service was friendly, quick, and very informative about the dishes.Damian Bielawski
a month agoGoogleGenerally speaking - great place, and very nice food. Staff was helpful and smiling. The only downside were the short ribs - sadly they were not eatable, majority of it was fat and 1% was the actual meat. This comment has been also made by the others, so perhaps this dish should be reconsidered. Certainly not worth its price and frankly as a last dish coming it was disappointing. Go for octopus as that on the other hand was great!
