  I am visiting Neue Taverne around twice a year and it is always a great moment. One Michelin star veggie restaurant (I am not veggie but like it from time to time) with amazing products and cooking. It is a modern way of tackling the vegetarian cooking. The service is always very kind and professional, the outdoor tables are quite nice on this very charming square. Indoor is typical Swiss, clean but a bit bland. Prices are extremely reasonable for the overall quality level and service. By far one of the best restaurant in Zurich.

  I liked it- the total rating should really be a 4.5. I liked the location in the old town with an easy walk to HB, the interior was warm with all the wood, the service was very friendly and explained each dish. We had a kind of tasting menu - Tavolata - for some in our group this was good, for others it was less ideal. For me, for a big group, I think it is nice that people can try a lot of different things, and you also don't lose time looking at the menu and ordering, because you just get what you get. Personally, I find that an advantage. I liked that the ingredients used were both seasonal and local, and the food was nicely presented.
