  I don’t really know how this has a Michelin star. The food was kind of bland and nothing more I than Bib Gourmand. Compared to Plates in London, which has elite service, presentation, atmosphere, and theatrics and a menu card - and then extra surprises on top of that - (and the chef himself brings out some of the dishes so you can talk to him) it was on a completely different level so this was just incredibly overpriced and disappointing. We had to pour our own wine at one point and the first dish was dropped at the table with no explanation… we had to ask for it after like 10 mins of waiting. There was no menu card so you couldn’t really consider what you are eating after the first time you heard the description. The food runners were literal teenagers and very uncoordinated/ awkward, one of them like dropped our bread basket clumsily on the table and it slid off the plate lol and then another kid tried like 4 times to wrap our bottle of wine with a linen napkin (????) and it wasn’t working and he eventually just skulked away. Neither of them said a word they were like mute children. It just wasn’t Michelin quality experience. The servers lacked knowledge of the wine and struggled to recommend a bottle. We were happy with the choice in the end but was a bit of a mission. I’ll say, our server was friendly and we liked her. But really just not impressed by KLE, shocked by what they’re charging for what they’re offering, and confused as to how they got a Michelin star forreal.

  We had a delightful evening at KLE. The six-course dinner was delicious, made with very fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors. The combination of tastes, textures, and colors was a real pleasure, and the service was attentive and welcoming throughout the night. We felt very well taken care of and would happily recommend KLE.
