  My experience at the Hiltl was very good. To enter, you must use an elevator, which keeps the restaurant “hidden” and in my opinion is really cool. The food was delicious. There was a wide range of food. (keep in mind it is a vegetarian restaurant). The service is difficult to rate, since it is a buffet. But the cashier was really nice and polite. The whole thing is kind of like a buffet + coffee shop. When you sit down at your table, you can directly go and get your food, which you pay for directly. For the drinks it’s the same: take a quick look at the menu and then head to the counter to order it. The atmosphere was also good. Although it was very busy, everything was clean and comfortable. You can either sit inside, or outside, in the covered terrace. Price: You pay for the grams of food on your plate. 620g of food = 32CHF~ Expensive compared to other restaurants Drinks are also expensive: 6.20CHF for a Matcha Latte. Overall nice experience, would recommend if you are willing to try something new and have a bit of money!

  Pros: Huge variety of fresh dishes, self-service buffet, and a warm, inviting dining area. Cons: The price is truly high. We paid 35 CHF for a single plate that wasn’t even full, but keep in mind this is a buffet priced by weight. Still, it’s Zurich – high prices come with the territory 😍. Tip: be mindful when loading your plate! Overall, a great spot for a quick, fresh, and high-quality lunch.
