  We were there to celebrate a birthday, and not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service and atmosphere were impeccable as well. After enjoying an aperitif in the November sun outside, we moved inside to the bar area for lunch. The wild boar casserole, accompanied by grilled squash, red cabbage, and hazelnut spaetzle, was not overly gamey but offered a delightful taste of autumn. We shared several desserts, allowing everyone in our group to experience the incredible variety of treats that Rueden has to offer. My favorite was the chocolate mushroom, which had a tangy, sweet plum compote cleverly hidden within its tip. This was a sit-down lunch, meaning it took several hours to truly savor the entire experience.
