I was shouted at by the staff member taking orders in front of the entire restaurant because I was already sitting at a table before ordering. This happened even though my colleagues were already at the counter ordering.
What makes this even more frustrating is that a very kind employee had given me the table and even moved it from one room to another because there was more space. When I calmly explained this and said it would have been nice to make an exception since my colleagues were about to join me, he loudly scolded his colleague and then told me I would not be served any food at all.
Other guests later commented that this place should be called Stress Ramen rather than Happy Ramen, with constant shouting and food being rushed into bowls. A real shame in the heart of Zurich.
The restaurant is only open during lunch. If he is not stress resistant enough for such a small place, it is really a shame for the entire restaurant, especially since he stands right at the front.
If you are not looking for a relaxed lunch, this is the right place.
