I’ve been to GUL a few times over the years, and even back then I was already impressed — mainly by the food, but also by the relaxed, effortless vibe. It was always a place I knew I wanted to come back to. Recently, I finally did — and this time I had the chance to dive deep into the veggie and vegan dishes. Super, super cool. Everything felt thoughtful, bold, and full of character. The cabbage with cheese was an absolute highlight and something I’d recommend to anyone without hesitation. GUL still has that same easiness I loved back in the day, paired with food that really sticks with you. I’ll definitely be back to try my way through the rest of the menu.

I loved the variety of dishes and flavours — some of them were completely new to me and tasted unlike anything I’ve had before. Everything felt well thought out and full of personality. I’m a bit confused by some of the reviews here. Yes, it’s not a cheap place, but for me the price was absolutely fair for what you get. The quality and overall experience clearly justify it. A wonderful spot if you enjoy good food and discovering new flavours. We’d happily come back.
