  No nonsense pizza place with good options and fair prices for Zurich. I really like the bundle offers (Pizza, Salad, Drink), and their Tiramisu. I can recommend the “Ortolana” one of my favorite vegetarian Pizzas.

  We have dined at Flying Pizza a few times and I have been meaning to write a review. The premises is "Imbiss / Kiosk"-style with a few tables inside and seating outside on the pavement in good weather. The outdoor terrace is on a not-too-busy street so you are not greatly disturbed by the traffic. The tables inside look like making for a cosy atmosphere in the winter. There is a wide selection of pizzas - my favourite so far is the salsiccia pizza, while my other half likes the Pinsa. Drinks - there is a huge range of beers in the fridges, though we usually go for the bottled white Rioja wine which is a good price at SFr18.90. The staff are happy to provide wine glasses if you dine in. You have to order and pre-pay at the till, but the staff are realy helpful and this is a quick process. Each time our food has arrived at the table in fairly short time, and the pizzas have a nice, crispy crust and generous topping. We have also met the owner, Tomas who is a very congenial guy, and had the honour of chatting with him over a few glasses of wine on the terrace outside. Verdict - this is a nice, easy-going pizza place that "does what it says on the can" for a decent price. Definitely on our list of go-to places after a couple of early Friday evening drinks.
