  We had a wonderful evening, besides a great six-course dinner we were surprised with various amuse-bouches dishes during the whole meal. The dessert with Nespola is a great explosion of tastes in your mouth with different textures and temperatures. We had a bottle of Viognier by E. Meier which matches very well with the different courses.

  The restaurant is a shambles, probably a 2 Michellin Star if you don’t have allergies, but they were not able to cope outside the standard menu. Despite telling restaurant when booking prior to our arrival and explaining again before we went down to dinner, we still ended up with nuts being included in my sons meal! There was a call to the doctor and a trip to the chemist for the medication. This took 35mins and I have to say there was no urgency. I don’t think the staff understood that they were dealing with a life threatening situation. I had to insist that they call the member of staff traveling to get the medication to find out how much longer he would be, and only after the mediation arrived did someone ask if we wanted to be taken to the hospital. There is no doctor available on-site and the doctor on call when asked if he was going to come, said ‘ I am not the only doctor in Switzerland’ not sure what that meant. We were very fortunate to be traveling with a doctor as part of our birthday party group so he was able to administer something to keep his airways open or else only god knows what would have happened. Please DO NOT EAT IN THE RESTAURANT IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES the restaurant cannot cope and the staff will not be able to help! Luxury hotel just for show, no real substance, it’s easy to deal with the normal expectations, you get a real understanding for the calibre of a place in times of adversity. We ordered Burger King to be delivered to the hotel instead, not the birthday celebration we were expecting, but Burger King could confirm there were no nuts!
