  It's rather tragic when you're no longer understood as a fellow countryman. I ordered 18 macarons, and I wanted 6 each of Baileys, banana split, and chocolate. Since there were only 5 chocolate macarons left, I took a macchiato as a substitute. With my third macchiato, I asked what she was doing. After going back and forth several times, she said she didn't understand me properly. I replied that she had to say that so I would speak standard German with her instead of Zurich German. And then to get annoyed when you complain... Absolutely unacceptable! March 29, 2026, around 7:45 PM In the future, I'll go back to Sprüngli for their Luxemburgerli.
