  Brick bar is a brilliant venue with great cocktails. The bartender and service people were kind and decently attentive. We went very early and as a result, it was completely empty so it was nice and quiet, great for a date. The drinks have a flair and a story, making it a lot more enticing than just getting a typical gin & tonic. We went for dinner after and returned for another drink closer to midnight, where the bar was completely packed and basically unapproachable. There was no point getting a more complex cocktail than a gin & tonic or a glass of wine. So I highly recommend going there as a pre-dinner spot! After that it’s just crawling with people and defeats the whole cocktail bar aspect, turning into a normal bar with the music at the level of a club. Fun for a night out, not for a more intimate conversation.
