  It's just a Bistrot, nothing special. Bistrot à Paris nails the French bistrot concept and ambiance; the look, feel, and general atmosphere are exactly what you would hope for from a classic neighborhood spot in France. The room is cozy and lively, and the overall quality of the food is good, but for me it did not justify the price point. On the plate, nothing really stood out visually, and some execution issues pulled the experience down. A few of the pasta in the mains were undercooked, and the herb butter for the entrecôte was simply forgotten. When I pointed this out, the team did apologize, but then implied it was my responsibility to remember, which left a very poor impression. The vegetables were also a bit too oily for me. The highlight of the meal was the onion quiche, which was genuinely delicious and showed what the kitchen can do when everything comes together. Unfortunately, the service was very slow: it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to serve three courses, which is nowhere near acceptable for this style of restaurant. Overall, while the concept and atmosphere are on point, the service issues and inconsistent execution mean I can only give Bistrot à Paris 3 stars.

  The meat was really poor quality, and overall the food didn’t match the expectations. Very expensive for what you get. The service and atmosphere were promising, and I really thought we’d found a good French restaurant. Unfortunately not, we won’t come back.
