  I go to Bäckerei Konditorei Hürlimann every Friday after my counseling session—it’s become a little ritual and a special treat for myself. Each week, I pick one thing I know I love and something new to try. This way, I get to discover more of their incredible handmade creations. Today, I chose some pastries and their meringue cones, and I couldn’t be happier with my selection. This place is the perfect combination of everything that’s right. You can feel the love and dedication they put into every detail. It’s a family business, and if I’m not mistaken, they’re in their second generation—a truly kick-ass family running the show. The craftsmanship (or perhaps I should say craftswomanship, as I’ve noticed two or three talented women creating some of the most stunning pastries) is remarkable. Every piece feels like a small work of art. The service is equally exceptional; you can sense the care and passion they pour into their products. If you’re looking for delicious treats made with love, creativity, and skill, I can’t recommend this place enough!
